Alleena founded Yellow Tree Malaysia, set up to train and consult corporations, SMEs and under-served communities (women, indigenous and refugees) in both soft and hard skills.
Having spent almost a decade in a leading MNC, Alleena developed extensive strategic knowledge in brand, marketing, communication, and sales management. She worked on numerous international and local consumer brands in pharma, banking, retail, oil and gas, telco, luxury, and start-up industries.
She is an NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) and Time Line Therapy® Practitioner an area that strengthens her skills in areas of human communication and behaviour. Alleena was an active driver in the areas of corporate coaching for peers and management trainees that unleashed her interest in change management. With a certification in NLP Coaching, she is driven to assist individuals on their journey of self-development.
After residing for more than 25 years abroad, she received her Post Graduate Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management in the South of France and later an MBA with Cornell University in International Hospitality Management at ESSEC Business School of Paris. Alleena now creates meaningful and effective hospitality modules for all industries.
She is currently an industry advisor and working committee member at the Institute of Ethnic Studies (KITA) of UKM (National University of Malaysia) and leads The Ulam School brand and marketing initiatives. She is also developing a master’s programme in sustainable food development.
Alleena is a HRDC (Human Resource Development Corporation) accredited trainer and a certified Virtual LearnCaster (VLC) arming her with cutting-edge skills to deliver interactive training online. She was also the co-founder of Pathway a corporate business consultancy specialising in digitalisation, people development and internationalisation.
